Rosslyn Allen

My background over the past 12 years has been within the charity sector, having had roles where I have supported vulnerable children, young people and their families, with the community and within the criminal justice arena. I also delivered gambling harms awareness training, within education and criminal justice, as well as volunteer coordination in family support and community development. Prior these roles, I managed an Early Years setting.

I have experience of coordination and delivering networking events as well as delivering general training and workshops to children/young people, volunteers and professionals within the voluntary and statutory arena. I have also volunteered as a school governor, scouts secretary and mentored young girls with behavioural and emotional needs, and am fully invested in the time that volunteers offer.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and cultures, and supporting them to reach their full potential and realise their aspirations, as well as developing communities to connect and support each other. It is rewarding to be part of Neighbourhood Watch to be able to deliver my commitment to communities.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, particularly relaxing on a cruise ship, visiting as many different places as much as I can to appreciate the world we live in.
