Safety is a very important aspect of enjoying your time at university or college. If you've moved to a new town or city, it can be an exciting, and sometimes daunting, experience. Whether you're living in student accommodation, or have a house share off campus, looking after your personal safety as well as that of your home, is key to being able to dive into this new chapter in your life, knowing you're safe and confident.

We've shared some stories from our termly student magazine, The Lookout, on this section of our website. The topics covered in these stories explore various student safety and wellbeing topics, including first aid tips for a night out, guidance on spotting and avoiding drink spiking, managing your mental health at university, and more.

If you're interested in writing, illustrating, or being involved in The Lookout in a different way - let us know! We'd love to hear from you: email and get involved! youngpeople@ourwatch.org.uk
