My career background in education was mostly spent in challenging school environments, including in the role of Headteacher. I continue my interest and involvement in education serving as a school governor. My role as a Parish Councillor reflects my interest in local community activities and specifically services that support all members of a community. Since 2019, I have had the privilege of being Chair of Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch Association. I maintain an active interest in the use of restorative processes to support victims of crime, and have witnessed the positive impact taking part in such a process has had on those that commit crime.
On a more relaxed note, I enjoy walking in the countryside, family activities and reading.
