During the Covid-19 pandemic and the latest nationwide lockdown, members of the public are going to be inside their houses most of the time and as a result may be online more frequently, and subsequently more vulnerable to radicalisation and extremists.
Youths in particular are often targeted by extremist groups.
If you are concerned that someone close to you is expressing extreme views or hatred ACT EARLY and call the national police Prevent advice line 0800 011 3764, in confidence, to share your concerns with their specially trained Prevent officers. The advice line is open 9:00am – 5:00pm every day. You might just save them.
Visit actearly.uk for useful advice and information and how to spot the signs that a loved one may be vulnerable to extremists.
