Helping your new Coordinators get connected with local policing team is one of the first tasks that should be done.

As a Area Coordinator you will have knowledge of how to contact the local team and also provide first hand knowledge of the working relationship that a Coordinator has with them.

Provide details of the local policing team

If you already know the LPT/SNT then make sure you let them know that there is a new Coordinator in their area and inform the Coordinator of the contact details of the team

Meetings

Let the Coordinator know if there are any Ward Panels, Community Action Groups (CAGs) or similar happening in their area.

Expectations

Explain how and when to contact the policing team should they need to and explain about shifts and patterns that you have experienced too.
