Darlington Neighbourhood Watch Association
Darlington, a significant town in County Durham, has a population of approximately 105,000 but is growing quickly with many new housing developments ongoing.
There are a number of separate Neighbourhood Watch groups within the town that service their local area or even a single street.
The Darlington Neighbourhood Watch Association was reorganised late last year with the objective of uniting these separate units into one Association so that their combined efforts in advancing their objectives of making their town a safer place to live and work and more free from petty crime can be realised.
The Association increases the ability to be involved with voluntary work among disadvantaged groups in the area.
