Greenwich Neighburhood Watch Network
We are the Association for the Royal Borough of Greenwich in London and we support over 13,000 members. However our mission is to support ALL residents within the borough, totalling over 500,000 people.
We support organisations and partners within the borough to help each other learn about community connectivity, wellbeing and crime reduction. As well as focusing on the strengths within the borough, which is the community.
We run various projects in the borough from working with young people to supporting vulnerable residents, older people, refugees etc.
We deliver training for our coordinators and community workshops for members and residents which cover a range of subjects from Vehicle Crime, Burglary, Scams, Hate Crime, Romance Scams, Connecting Communities, Anti-Social Behaviour and Internet Safety.
We pride ourselves on our engagement with youth in our borough and have a joint programme with our partner, Trading Standards, where we have teams of Police Cadets delivering a specially designed presentation to elderly people, to focus on staying safe online and how to report if they become a victim of crime.
Other projects include our Schools Programme where we encourage small groups of young people to engage with their communities and make a difference.
We wouldn’t do this work without the support and partnerships of our members, Safer Neighbourhood’s Teams and Council Community Safety teams. We welcome all members of our community to join with us.
