Nearly every household joined in with a socially distance street party on Friday 8th May.

Most households decorated their front gardens with appropriate banners and flags, and joined in a celebration with music, speeches from Sir Winston Churchill and, in many cases, war time food and drinks. It really built on the community spirit felt on Thursday evenings with neighbours getting to know each other much better.

There was a flurry of new members afterwards too.
