We’re no party poopers here at Neighbourhood Watch!
We know how popular trick or treating at Halloween has become.
But we know that many of our members who are elderly or vulnerable would rather not be disturbed on a dark evening in late October.
So by popular demand we’ve designed a small window sticker that can be used to politely deter trick or treaters.
"We know how much fun children and young people have from trick or treating. We would never want to discourage harmless fun but we have designed this sticker so that those people who really don’t want to take part can display it on their doors or windows. Earlier this year we included the sticker in our popular Members’ Guide that have gone out to 500,000 households. Many of our members have said how welcome they find the Guide.”
