Maghull HomeWatch Association celebrated the end of 30years serving and supporting the residents of Maghull, incorporating Lydiate and Sefton Village. We had planned on celebrating the start of the 30th year but unfortunately Covid-19 had other ideas. An enjoyable evening with a buffet, followed by the AGM where Inspector Taylor gave a very encouraging crime update report.
Guests including the Mayor of Maghull, Sgt. Keith Burke from Community Engagement Unit (HomeWatch police lead), Chief Superintendent Zoe Thornton, responsible for Neighbourhood Policing, all gave encouragement and thanks to the volunteer work of Maghull HomeWatch, looking forward to working together in the years ahead.
Neighbourhood Watch Network were delighted to be able to send Maghull HomeWatch a certificate recognising their 30 years, which was presented to the Chair, Lynne Fairclough by the Chief Superintendent Thornton.
