Simeon has more than 20 years of professional experience in the youth sector, and the heart of his work has always been to engage and enable young people to achieve their full potential.

Simeon was the lead in promoting the voice of young people in Westminster. Through his support and work with the Youth Council members, young people joined the Borough’s IAG and the Youth MP elected Chair of the MOPAC group. Simeon supported young people to take the lead on an award-winning anti-domestic violence social media. He also increased the diversity, membership and outcomes of the members of the Youth Council.

The Young People’s Engagement and Development Manager post will be informed and led by the young people. Simeon will collaborate with a diverse group of young people (16-24 years old), involving them in design and delivery wherever possible. Over the course of the 12 months, he will build new relationships with youth organisations in three pilot locations: Birmingham, London, and Wales. He will get to know the areas and young people who wish to actively engage with their communities and make changes through these connections.

Simeon brings to this role his experience, skills, and passion for young people to achieve their full potential.
